Celia de Fréine, launch 15 October

-->

A landmark event in Irish publishing, with the groundbreaking eighteenth-century poem by Brian Merriman inspiring a new trilogy of plays, Lorg Merriman.

The 1st play, 'Desire : Meanmarc' imagines Merriman's life and times prior to writing his poem
The 2nd play, 'The Midnight Court', is a new translation and re-interpretation in drama
The 3rd play, 'Plight : Cruachas', imagines the setting up of a Midnight Court in modern-day Ireland
