Arlen House is delighted to announce that Tom Duddy's recently published debut poetry collection, The Hiding Place, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Aldeburgh First Collection Award. Tom is the only Irish author and Arlen House the only Irish publisher to make the shortlist.

From 74 entries, the shortlist for the 2011 Aldeburgh First Collection Prize – one of the most influential and established poetry prizes in the UK – highlights five distinctive new voices as ‘ones-to-watch’ amongst the next generation of poets.
